  • Full time/Part Time (8:30a – 5:30p)
  • $16 - $17/hr

Ideal candidate for this role:

Ideal candidate for this role is a people person who can maintain the safety of their passengers while transporting them to and from pickup/drop off points. A driver with excellent customer service skills and shuttle driving experience. Someone who understands the importance of punctuality when transporting passengers, vehicle maintenance/cleanliness.

Position Description
The Shuttle Driver reports to assigned shift on time to ensure timely pick up or drop off for passengers. Prior to passengers entering the vehicle, the driver is to inspect the exterior and interior to ensure no mechanical issues arise and the vehicle is clean. With a warm welcoming demeanor, they are to open vehicle doors for passengers and greet them as they approach the vehicle. The driver then safely transports passengers to specified pick up and drop off points. The driver is to build rapport and provide professional and courteous service to all passengers at the assigned location, while following company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to APC location site Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and site-specific training.
  • Report to assigned shift on time.
  • Inspect interior and exterior of vehicle for damage, mechanical issues, cleanliness, etc. Report issues to main office if vehicle issues arise.
  • Safely transport passengers to pick up and drop off points.
  • Maintain gas log and mileage log.
  • Ensure engine is turned off when vehicle not in use.
  • Communicate with team members via hand held radio.
  • Provide excellent customer service experience to passengers and coworkers utilizing interpersonal skills.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Driver’s license & driving record free of major driving offenses.
  • Must be over the age of 18 for insurance purpose.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Well groomed, professional appearance.
  • Flexible availability; ability to provide coverage when requested and on weekends.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This position operates from 8:30a – 5:30p and requires weekend availability.
