Express Employment Professionals has been asked by one of our clients to hire a Associate (Pre-Suit) Personal Injury Attorney  for a local Stuart, FL  based law firm. This position has potential for advancement.

**Recent Law Grads-5 years welcomed!**

**are you out of state? a recent law graduate, as well as a license to practice law in the State of Florida? we want to speak to you!! **

Salary-$85k+DOE

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Complete drafted legal documents including demand letters.
• Assist all injured clients with benefits, including appropriate medical care.
• Negotiate Settlements on behalf of the client.
• Take Depositions of the Claimant, witnesses, physicians, medical experts, and other parties.
• Conduct Discovery, perform legal research.
• remain current with developments in the law.
• coordinate and attend claims reviews.

Requirements:

• A general understanding, interest, and preferable experience in Florida Personal Injury Laws.
• Must have an undergraduate degree AND law degree as well as a license to practice law in the state of Florida.
• Must be able to recognize when a "final offer" really isn't quite final.
• Ability to answer client questions and guide them through the legal process.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent negotiation skills. Able to negotiate settlements.
• Ability to work independently and also within a team.
• Strong technology skills including legal platforms.
