Lead Patient Care Assistant Job Description

Unique opportunity to join Maryhaven, Central Ohio’s largest and most comprehensive behavioral services provider specializing in addiction recovery. We are looking for skilled, talented, and compassionate people to join our team! Under the supervision of the clinical supervisor, the Lead Patient Care Assistant (PCA) will act to secure the general environment of the facility. The Lead Patient Care Assistant (PCA) will facilitate safety, maintenance of unit, rules and program implementation. Orientate and train newly hired PCA's. Assist medical staff with admission process. Provide orientation to new residents. Conduct hygiene and safety education to residents. Check residents and belongings for contraband. The Lead PCA will monitor residents and the facility.


Lead Patient Care Assistant Requirements

  • Associate degree in a related field, preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, required.
  • Training and certification in law enforcement, correctional or security environments, preferred.
  • Minimum three years' experience in related field, preferred.
  • CDCA or equivalent, preferred.
