Service Technician – Automotive

Job Responsibilities

• Perform light maintenance on vehicles (Brakes, Tires, Alignment, Fluid Services)
• Perform light vehicle diagnostics
• Discuss findings with Shop Foreman or Service Advisors
• Create estimates for customers, including additional recommended services
• Manage workflow with Service Advisors
• Complete documentation of repairs
• Keep current with factory technical bulletins
• Attend company and factory training
• Maintain strict adherence to dealership policies for safety
• Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations (such as disposal of hazardous waste)

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or GED (general equivalency diploma); or 1 to 3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Driver's License Required, State Inspection License a Plus!

Compensation
