Registered Nurse

Healthcare Staffing Professionals, Inc. is looking for Registered Nurse (RN) to work in a skilled nursing facility in Fairmont, WV. A successful candidate will have at least 1 year of experience as an RN and will be able to meet submission and compliance deadlines as positions are limited and submission timelines are approaching. Location: Fairmont, WV
Contract Length: 6 months with the possibility of extension
Shifts: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM to work full time hours and rotate weekends
Payrate: $45/hour Standard, $48/hour Travel ($38/hour + $10/hour stipend)
Key Responsibilities:
Provide compassionate nursing care to patients in an acute psychiatric care facility or other assigned areas
Oversee the work of less experienced Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)
Participate in Treatment Team Meetings to develop Individualized Treatment Plans, direct consultations, and collaborate with other disciplines
Administer medications as prescribed by treating physicians
Ensure timely documentation in patients' Electronic Medical Records
Handle and oversee all medical-related emergencies
Communicate with physicians to coordinate patient care regimens
Provide testimony in court and commitment hearings when necessary
Respond to inquiries from family members, advocates, and other interested parties while maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations
Deliver all services in accordance with applicable standards of care
