Job Summary:
The Automotive Service Technician at Faupel Automotive Group in Henderson, Kentucky is a full-time, individual contributor role in the automotive industry. This position will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to vehicle maintenance, repair, and customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive technology and possess the necessary skills to provide efficient and high-quality service to our customers.

Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly pay ranging from $20 to $50 per hour

Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical problems in vehicles
- Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes and tire rotations
- Review customer complaints and conduct thorough vehicle inspections to determine the cause of issues
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively and professionally with clients
- Document all services and repairs performed on vehicles
- Keep up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an automotive technology program or relevant work experience
- ASE certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of automotive technology and repair methods
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting and bending in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
