Seeking Shipping & Receiving Clerk in Austin, TX
Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find Shipping & Receiving Clerks in Austin, TX. Shipping & Receiving Clerks will be responsible for handling incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with various departments to ensure timely deliveries and inventory accuracy. What you’ll be responsible for:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality
- Prepare and package products for outbound shipments, ensuring proper documentation and labeling
- Load and unload trucks using forklifts or other equipment
- Prepare shipping documents, including bills of lading and packing slips
- Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information
What you’ll need:
- Proficiency in using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment
