Salary:

Front Royal Ford in Front Royal, VA is seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk to assist the Accounting Department in providing professional, accurate, and efficient accounting records.  This position is full-time, 8am-5pm Monday through Friday.  Hourly pay based on experience.


Top applicants will have prior bookkeeping experience, background in automotive finance, prior experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable and/or accounting department. Qualified applicants need to be high energy, outgoing, and willing to work hand in hand with our Controller.

Responsibilities:

  • Primary focus areas will be posting vehicle purchase entries
  • Additional accounting duties as assigned. May include: daily bank reconciliation, tracking schedules, deposits, etc.
  • Follow up with dealership departments to ensure accurate record keeping and sale documentation


Qualifications:

  • Minimum two years of general accounting/bookkeeping experience preferred
  • Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable experience is a must
  • 2 year Accounting degree preferred, not required
  • Friendly and personable
  • Business casual attire
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Highly organized with eagerness to improve
  • Willingness to take initiative
  • Computer literacy, quality writing and grammar skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks easily
  • Work well with all levels of employees
