Job Description
We are currently seeking a Preventive Maintenance Technician with a strong manufacturing background to join our team! You will be responsible for completing work orders, maintaining all production equipment, and minimizing machine downtime for our facility.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Will be primarily responsible for performing preventive maintenance such as lubrication (grease zerks, oil, etc.), replacing filters, etc. in order to maintain proper working condition of the production equipment and avoid machine downtime.
- Partner with PM project team to continue building the formal PM program within Katy Spring.
- Assist Sr. Maintenance personnel with various maintenance activities.
- Occasional local driving to pick up maintenance supplies as directed by Maintenance Manager.
Qualifications:
- HS diploma or GED equivalent required, related certificate from a technical school, or equivalent training and experience preferred.
- Two or more years of industrial maintenance or production maintenance required.
- Good record keeping skills, math skills and accurate measurement capability.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, and ability to prioritize.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills, self-directed and ability to work unsupervised.
- Exceptional communication skills, written, verbal, listening and interpersonal.
- Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
Schedule: Monday – Thursday 6am – 4:30pm
Compensation & Benefits:
- 20.00 – 22.00 hourly – Depends on experience
