Parts Dept. ......Entry Level

Job Summary:
Johnson City Acura/Mazda is seeking a highly motivated individual to fill our entry-level position in the Parts Department. We are looking for the right person with a positive attitude and a great work ethic to build a lasting career in a challenging field. This is a full-time, hourly position in the automotive industry located in Johnson City, Tennessee. As an individual contributor, you will play a crucial role in a growing company supporting our dealership's Parts operations. There are also advancement opportunities within the company for the right individual.

Responsibilities:

-  Deliver wholesale Parts to Customers using our Company Vehicle.

-  Learn to check in stock and special ordered parts. 
-  Learn to assist customers in person and over the phone with parts inquiries, orders, and purchases
-  Learn to identify and locate the correct parts for customers' vehicles
-  Learn to analyze customer needs and recommend suitable parts and accessories
-  Learn Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure appropriate stock levels
-  Learn Process parts returns.  

-  Maintain cleanliness and organization of parts department and parts department vehicles.
-  Learn to collaborate with other departments, especially the Service and Sales departments, to ensure efficient and timely delivery of parts
-  Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
-  Attend training sessions and stay updated with new products and procedures
-  Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:
- Previous experience in automotive parts department or dealership preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Proficient computer skills and ability to learn new systems is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
