FINISHING SPRAY APPLICATOR I (EVENING)

NOTE: This is an evening shift Monday-Friday from 3:15pm-11:45pm. Evening hours will be compensated at a shift differential.

DESCRIPTION

Responsible for finishing a Weatherby Firearms in the CERAKOTE® department and coordinating with team members to meet business goals and optimize processes. Properly wash, blast, and apply CERAKOTE® coating.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Clean products as they arrive to the CERAKOTE® operation
• Guide each product unit through the CERAKOTE® process
• Make sure all parts are clean and oil free
• Blast any and all parts with efficiency and consistency
• Operate the spray gun with efficiency and consistency
• Have full operation knowledge of Cuda washers, Empire blasters, the large Rohner oven and small Shelab ovens
• Maintain a clean and efficient work area
• Maintain accurate records using Microsoft Word and Excel

Education & Experience

• High school diploma, GED or minimum 6 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and barcode labels.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, this position operates in a manufacturing environment and will be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in this work environment can be loud.
