Job Description
NOTE: This is an evening shift Monday-Friday from 3:15pm-11:45pm. Evening hours will be compensated at a shift differential.
DESCRIPTION
Responsible for finishing a Weatherby Firearms in the CERAKOTE® department and coordinating with team members to meet business goals and optimize processes. Properly wash, blast, and apply CERAKOTE® coating.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Clean products as they arrive to the CERAKOTE® operation
- Guide each product unit through the CERAKOTE® process
- Make sure all parts are clean and oil free
- Blast any and all parts with efficiency and consistency
- Operate the spray gun with efficiency and consistency
- Have full operation knowledge of Cuda washers, Empire blasters, the large Rohner oven and small Shelab ovens
- Maintain a clean and efficient work area
- Maintain accurate records using Microsoft Word and Excel

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience
- High school diploma, GED or minimum 6 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
Competencies
- Communication Proficiency
- Excellent English language written and oral communication skills
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and barcode labels.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Technical Capacity
- Ability to apply concepts of basic mathematics
- Ability to use and read measuring instruments
- Problem Solving/Analysis
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

- Meet objective goals assigned during performance coaching.
