As a Bobcat Service & Parts Advisor, you will own our customer’s experience in the service lane. You are the first point of contact with our customers and will be well-versed in product offerings, inventory needs, technician scheduling and customer service. From greeting vehicle owners on the service lane to explaining the repair process, our Advisors are true professionals who enjoy helping others. We welcome individuals who are new to the implement industry but with previous roles in customer service, retail sales, restaurant industry or hospitality.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee flow of Service Lane. Ensure that customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service.
  • Take ownership of the customer's experience by carrying out those additional assignments that allow the dealership to leave a positive impression with the customer.
  • Provide concierge support for all owner inquiries, whether phone or in person, to assure the customer does not get mishandled
  • Ensures that the daily inventory of technicians' time is consistently sold to service customers.
  • Distribute work between technicians efficiently
  • Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish
  • Communicate with customer on parts status
  • Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Be able to read and understand the parts catalog when looking up parts.
  • Answers phone calls, providing price quotes and other information
  • Provides high level service to internal and external customers.
  • Pulls and fills orders from stock
  • Maintain a weekly bin checks to ensure accuracy of stock.
  • Notifies parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention.
  • Locates out-of-stock parts from outside source and submits an emergency order, if necessary.
  • Make sure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair order.
  • Receives payment from retail customers or obtains credit authorization.
  • Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Organized and friendly personality
  • Fantastic communication skills with your customers
  • Professional, well-groomed personal appearance.
  • Clean driving record
  • Have a High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Have experience with auto and/or implement parts sales (preferred)
  • Are able to work in a fast-paced work environment
  • Have strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
