Key Responsibilities (tasks that you do to achieve the accountabilities):

• Ensures company standards for safety, quality and customer satisfaction are met or exceeded • Performs cleaning of nozzles following use on the production floor using an oxygen acetylene torch or other tools as needed • Performs minor electrical tasks as needed • Inspect all heaters and thermocouples for proper operation • Replaces heaters and thermocouples as required • Prepares and sets up kits in advance for scheduled production runs • Plans and prioritizes based on scheduling and business needs • Attends daily meetings to discuss production schedule and concerns needing to be addressed • Inspects and repairs or replaces parts as needed- including, but not limited to nozzles, tips, cylinders, hydraulic fittings, hoses, thermocouples, and heaters • Maintains an inventory of injection nozzles, tips, cylinders, and spare parts, and requisitions parts as needed through placing orders • Preforms cleaning and maintenance of injection nozzles - takes proper steps to have them repaired or replaced as needed • Maintains a clean and organized work area • Properly stores all nozzles and parts in accordance with company policies and procedures • Follows all safety requirements • Maintains nozzle cylinders • Keeps records of nozzle maintenance • Keeps file of nozzle "maps" for each job • Identify problem areas and help implement short-term and permanent corrective action • Performs all other assignments as required

Qualities for Success: • 1+ years of Nozzle Room Technician experience • Must have knowledge of multi-nozzle structural foam molding and injection molding • Most possess good mechanical ability • Must be able to troubleshoot heaters and thermocouples • Have basic electrical skills • Good verbal and written communication skills • High School diploma or equivalent • Ability to drive a fork-lift preferred • Able to work overtime hours according to business need Page 2 • Safety conscious • Able to work effectively on a team and independently

Physical & Mental Demands: • Able to lift 65 lbs up to shoulder height daily on an on-going basis without assistance • Able to lift 60 lbs above head occasionally • Push, pull, bend, twist, and stoop on an on-going basis • Grip and hold parts and hand tools continuously (8 hours) • Use miscellaneous hand tools including manual, pneumatic, and powered • Ability to work with small parts down to a bolt size of ¼” in diameter • Good hand and wrist dexterity • Visually inspect all parts • Stand and walk for extended periods of time • Respond to sound and light • Ascend/descend up to 7 feet frequently The mental and physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an individual to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.

Work Environment: This position is often required to conduct business on the manufacturing floor. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may work near moving mechanical parts and could be exposed to chemical or electrical shock risk.
