Our results driven; high-producing Independent Representatives (1099) earn well over $120,000 in commissions with our average representatives earning $85,000. You must have a high desire, and commitment to excellence which allows you to open new accounts and grow existing accounts. Experience in outside sales or optical background preferred. You will represent one of the premier eyewear manufacturers in the world with a wide range of brands.

WE ARE SAFILO USA, a subsidiary of Safilo Group, an Italian manufacturer and worldwide distributor of quality fashion eyewear and sunwear. We are offering a career opportunity in Western Ohio to represent some of the most prestigious worldwide brands, BOSS by Hugo Boss, Marc Jacobs, Missoni, David Beckham, Banana Republic, Chesterfield & Adensco. This is a 1099 commissionable position that pays a draw with an established customer base with extremely high growth opportunity.

You must excel at finding and closing new opportunities, building relationships, and growing and servicing existing accounts. You must have excellent listening skills, strong computer skills, problem solving skills, strong presentation skills, and consultative selling skills. You should be highly motivated, goal oriented, memorable, and have a history of demonstrated success. Entrepreneurial spirit and mindset are extremely beneficial in this position.

Job Responsibilities:

Solicit and procure orders of Safilo USA product lines within the assigned geographical area; Grow the market demand for the Safilo portfolio of products in a collection of customer accounts within a geographical area: Nashville, TN

  • Effectively act as a business consultant on product knowledge and programs.
  • Deliver volume and net sales objectives for all Safilo portfolio of products.
  • Deliver growth through implementing the sustainable Safilo Sales Model with strategic customers.
  • Develop and adhere to an effective call cycle to achieve desired service frequency to Safilo customer accounts to meet indicated net sales objectives.
  • Ensure brand visual merchandising standards are met, refresh and leverage POP materials.
  • Utilize all brand materials to conduct regular customer staff trainings to reinforce knowledge and ensure message to the patient/consumer is translated consistently to brand positioning standards.
  • Cultivate the existing customer base, while partnering with the local sales representative team to prospect for new potential customers in the market.
