Salary:
West Penn Energy Services in Shelocta, PA has 2 openings for a Heavy Truck/Trailer Mechanic and a Heavy Equipment Mechanic. The work schedule will be Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm.
Mechanic Responsibilities:
- Assess vehicles and/or machinery to accurately diagnose and repair issues
- Provide routine inspections of vehicles and equipment
- Perform routine basic care and maintenance on automotive vehicles, heavy duty trucks/trailers and a variety of construction equipment (excavators, dozers, loaders, etc) including changing oil, checking fluid levels, and rotating tires
- Repair or replace worn parts
- Examine vehicles and equipment to determine functionality problems using manual and/or computerized diagnostic testing methods
- Maintain work logs, repairs, and maintenance records
- Maintain and clean garage, equipment and tools regularly
Requirements:
- Must provide your own tools
- CDL preferred
- Inspection License preferred
