POSITION:

The purpose of the Part-Time Sales Representative is to assist the Regional Managers with driving sales in the areas of new memberships, private training and retail. The Sales Representative also assists with implementing strategies to help retain current members at their studio. This position is the "face" of our studio when there and thus the ideal candidate exhibits an energetic, outgoing personality and likes to create relationships, and will treat the studio as they would their home. Pilates and other fitness knowledge or background is strongly preferred but not required.  We are currently seeking part-time candidates that are available to commit to anywhere from 20-30 hours per week, and for multiple studios across the Columbus area (Grandview Yard, Powell, and NW Dublin studios).

REQUIREMENTS:

• Excellent sales, communication, and customer service skills required - the ability to overcome objections and deal with sometimes upset customers in a professional way

• Goal-oriented with an ability to achieve sales in memberships, retail and private training

• Ability to learn and use the ClubReady software system (training provided upon hire) - must have technical and computer proficiency to navigate a CRM system after training

• Must have a knack for creating and maintaining relationships - this position is the "face" of our brand when members and prospects walk through the door and an outgoing, friendly but professional personality is required

• Extreme attention to detail - the ability to handle and effectively complete multiple tasks/duties at once

• Willingness to work varied shifts (some could be early morning starting at 7am, some could be closing shifts ending at 8:30pm, and weekend shifts could be 6:30am-2pm)

• Willingness to have your shifts split across multiple studios as needed

• Ability to physically meet the demands of the job (light physical work will be a part of the day to day duties, such as standing sometimes while on shift, studio cleaning responsibilities, helping instructors set up and break down after classes, moving retail, etc.)

• Must be fluent in English and have excellent communication skills via in person, phone and email

• Must be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

• Must have proficient computer skills

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Execute Club Pilates defined sales process of lead generation, follow up, and close

• Represent the values of the Club Pilates brand to everyone that walks through the door - create and maintain relationships with prospects and members

• Conduct tours of the facility while establishing a relationship and targeting individual’s needs and wants

• Maintain acceptable level of personal sales production - daily, weekly and monthly sales goals in various areas

• Emphasize and enforce objectives of the studio as a fitness and wellness provider

• Present available services to current or prospective members and identify opportunities to upsell

• Book quality intro class leads to help achieve monthly sales quota

• Drive daily retail sales and proactively identify ways to increase retail sales to prospects and members

• In conjunction with management team, identify monthly member retention and appreciation activities

• Participate in special events as needed (health fairs, grand openings, marathons, and community and hospital events) to promote the club

• Assist the studio with working at intro classes to help sell memberships (outside of scheduled shifts at times)

• Daily and weekly cleaning responsibilities are a key part of this role to ensure a clean environment for members and staff

• Other duties as assigned

COMPENSATION & PERKS:

• This position offers a very competitive hourly rate based on experience; candidates are eligible for 6-month and 12-month hourly rate increases based on performance as well
