Internship Position: Hotel Operations Intern

Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Hotel Operations Intern to join our team. This internship provides a hands-on opportunity to immerse oneself in the various facets of hotel operations, gaining practical experience and invaluable insights into the intricate workings of a world-class hospitality establishment.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Front Office Management: Assist in front desk operations, including guest check-in/check-out, reservations management, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
  2. Guest Relations: Engage with guests to ensure their needs are met promptly and courteously, handling inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and efficiency.
  3. Housekeeping Coordination: Collaborate with the housekeeping team to oversee room cleaning schedules, inventory management, and quality control to maintain high standards of cleanliness and comfort.
  4. Facilities Management: Assist in the maintenance of hotel facilities, including common areas, guest rooms, and amenities, to ensure safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal.
  5. Sales & Marketing: Assist the sales team in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, including corporate accounts, group bookings, and partnerships. Collaborate with the marketing department to develop content to enhance the hotel's visibility and attract potential guests.
  6. Revenue Management: Learn about revenue optimization strategies, pricing analysis, and occupancy forecasting to contribute to maximizing hotel profitability.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software applications.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
