Automotive Service Technician / Mechanic

Ron Bouchards CDJR is looking for an experienced C Level Technician and B Level Technician to join our team here in Fitchburg, MA! If you are anywhere in between, we'd love to hear from you!

The Automotive Service Technician is responsible for swiftly and accurately performing automotive repairs and service in accordance with store and factory standards while ensuring customer satisfaction.

We are looking for someone at the Master level who can work independently and assist other technicians.

Automotive Technician Responsibilities include:

• Assist other technicians with their work when needed, team players wanted
• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies and procedures.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are well-informed of any additional services needed.
• Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Automotive Technician Qualifications

• C Level: 3-6 years of dealership certified technician experience
• B Level: 2-5 years of dealership certified technician experience
• Must have your own tools
• ASE / Master certifications
• Ambitious, hardworking presence in a team environment
• Able to work on all makes and models
• Valid driver's license
• Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality
• Enjoy working in a dynamic environment
• Ability to collaborate effectively
