Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of licensed therapists to students with diverse needs, focusing on promoting independence and participation in school activities.
• Assist in conducting assessments and implementing individualized treatment plans to address students' fine motor, sensory processing, and self-care skills.
• Collaborate with educators and other professionals to support students' academic and functional success within the school setting.
• Monitor student progress and assist in adjusting interventions as necessary to ensure continued growth and development.
• Communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and team members to provide ongoing support and education.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program from an accredited institution.
• Active licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Oklahoma.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Passion for promoting independence and participation in daily activities for students with diverse needs.
