Role: L3 Support for IBM IID/BAW/WAS/Springboot

Location: Whitehouse Station, NJ (Onsite)  Must be based in the USA

Experience: 12 to 16 years IT experience in software development or architecture.

Job Description: As a Lead Developer, you will be responsible for leading a team of developers, designing, and implementing software solutions, and ensuring the quality and performance of the applications. You will collaborate with multi-functional teams, provide technical guidance, and contribute to the overall development strategy. Additionally, you will participate in code reviews, solve issues, and mentor junior developers. This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

  • At least 12 years of experience and is hands-on in IBM IID/BAW/WAS/Springboot and provide L3 support to existing IBM landscape.
  • Quickly grasp knowledge on applications developed using IBM Technology Stack - IBM IID (BAW) and IBM WAS
  • Should have good understanding and exposure on support engagement.
  • Should have excellent communication skills to work with the client and other stakeholders.
  • The resource would be required to mentor other developers along with doing actual support work/problem fixes.
  • Should be able to contribute independently and work closely with different project teams.
  • Should be able to provide on call support during P1/P2 issues and coordinate ordinate with offshore team for handover.
  • Provide technical guidance and lead support of enterprise software integration solutions.
  • Design, develop, implement, and maintain integration solution to reduce overall incidents.
  • Implement technology solutions focusing on reuse and leveraging Chubb & Industry standards and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with established architecture, design patterns, policies, and standards.
  • Actively contribute & collaborate with the teams following Agile development methodology such as planning, reviews, retrospectives, and daily status reporting
  • Drive continuous improvements to all aspects of the development process within the team and across the organization.
  • Exhibit deep technical, problem analyzing and solving skills.
  • Single point of contact person at onshore to work with client business, IT stakeholders and implement the delivery with the help of offshore team.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to face off to the business and senior management.
  • Ability to demonstrate good stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills, with strong personal credibility.
Required Qualifications (12+ years)
  1. IBM BAW and BPM – Hands on
  2. IBM WAS – Java and Springboot – Hands on developer
  3. Integration experience to lead delivery and support end to end.
  4. L3 Support onsite lead. (Delivery Manager Skills)
  5. Insurance domain exp would be a plus
Salary and Other Compensation:

Experience in pharmaceutical industry recommended.The annual salary for this position is between $150,000 – $180,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
