Sequoia Equipment Company is a CASE Construction Equipment Dealership located in Central California and has been in business for over 27 years. Sequoia Equipment Company provides comprehensive sales, as well as parts and service support, including rental and leasing programs for Case customers. As we continue to grow, our Bakersfield, CA dealership is seeking experienced outside Sales Professionals to join our team.
The Sales Professional will be responsible for developing new business and maintaining accounts for the entire line of CASE construction equipment machine sales, including loader/backhoes, excavators, motor graders, wheel loaders, vibratory compaction rollers, crawler dozers, skid steer loaders, compact track loaders, loader tool carriers and rough-terrain forklifts.
• The customer base will be Contractors, Utilities, Municipalities, Corporations, Commercial, Agricultural and Industrial organizations within the Sequoia Equipment Company dealer territory.
• The Sales Professional is an outside sales position and shall be responsible for attaining a satisfactory sales volume and gross profit margin.
• The Sales Professional must have the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and be able to carry out additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management due to operational needs.
Qualifications
Job requirements:
• 5+ years sales experience in construction machinery, heavy equipment, or farm equipment industry is highly preferred, ideally within a dealership environment.
• Ability to develop new business and maintain existing accounts.
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to develop business relationships with customers and Sequoia employees.
• College degree is preferred but not required.
• Computer literacy and MS Office proficient
• Must be a self-motivated and a driven individual.
