CNC Lathe Machinist

Seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Lathe Machinist

As a CNC Lathe Machinist you will be responsible for programming and operating CNC lathes to efficiently produce high quality parts according to specifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 • Interpret blueprints, drawings, work instructions to determine machining operations and specifications

• Set up CNC lathes to perform machining operations.

• Selecting and preparing appropriate tooling, fixtures, and materials for machining work

• Program CNC Lathes and make necessary adjustments to optimize machine operations

• Monitor lathe operations to ensure parts are produced within tolerance and quality standards

• Perform routine maintenance tasks on machines to ensure optimal performance

• Maintain accurate records of production activities such as machine settings, tool changes, and inspection results

• Follow all safety standards using proper PPE

 REQUIREMENTS:

 • Proven experience as a CNC lathe machinist

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings

• Strong knowledge and understanding of machining techniques and principals

• Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments

• Ability to stand, squat, bend for long periods of time

• Ability to lift and maneuver heavy materials
