Production Machine Operator

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Proper set up of bottle/tubing filling lines in accordance with the production plan.
• Perform basic machine operations to include but not limited to: handling raw material, finished product cases, performing quality inspections and minor machine adjustments.
• Monitor the flow of outgoing finished goods and correct any disturbance in the flow of those goods. Troubleshoot and minor repair equipment, to eliminate downtime and maintain safety.
• Clean equipment continually throughout the shift and maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Expedite repairs to the line.
• May be asked to keep data in relation to repairs or efficiency of machine operations.
• Must follow all established “Good Manufacturing Practices.”
• Play a pivotal role in the commitment and practice of safety in the workplace.
• Follow and ensure compliance on all safety procedures including Code of Safe Practices, and all safety protocols.
• Understand basic OSHA rules around equipment and plant operations.

Qualifications:

• Experience operating multiple manufacturing machines.
• Technical and repair experience
• Effective organizational and communicational skills
• Ability to multitask and be flexible to assist in changing daily operations and processes.
• Knowledge in safety regulations for manufacturing or similar environments
• Ability to ensure quality control of finished products
• Education: High School Diploma or GED minimum

Hourly rate based on experience.
