CNC Machinist Programmer

Lown Performance has an open Machinist position we are looking to fill.

Full and Part-time positions available.

Must have the ability and understanding to review work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, reference plans, locations of surfaces, machining parameters, interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances

Experience with DXF file building is a plus

Programming mills by entering instructions, including zero and reference points, setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, calculating requirements, including basic math, proving part programs

Able to operate machinery (Manual Lathe, Milling Machine, Drill Press, surface grinder, CNC machines)

Must understand materials, cutting tools, tool speed and material feed rates, coolant requirements and machining techniques

Observe and listen to operating machines or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions and to determine need for adjustment and repairs
