CNC Machinist Lathe / Mill

You will perform set up’s, program edits, and During production, you must monitor the machine and conduct regular quality checks to ensure they are running properly and that the parts are being produced according to specifications.

CNC Machinist Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform daily check of CNC machine before operating
• Perform machine preventative maintenance (grease chuck, fluid check ie. Spindle oil, coolants levels, clean chips off ways and table)
• Maintain a clean work area, work bench and organized
• Set up machine to successfully conduct the run as specified
• Conduct program edits, but not limited to long hand programming if required
• Monitor the run throughout the cycle, checking that specifications are met
• Always follow safety and QMS/ISO quality standards
• Report any Quality, safety and/or maintenance concerns to management immediately

CNC Machinist Requirements and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Good time-management skills, communication skills problem solving skills
• 2+ years of experience as a CNC Machinist
• Able to read and follow technical drawings and diagrammed instructions
