Miss Saigon Downtown is thrilled to announce our transition from our current venue to a newer nicer venue in March 2024. We are looking to expand our team by adding passionate and dynamic Part-Time Front-of-House Staff, including Servers and Bartenders, who are excited to dive into the rich and vibrant world of Vietnamese cuisine.

Job Requirements:

- Previous experience as a hostess is mandatory. ( 6mths- 1yr ) or be willing to learn.
- A genuine interest in learning about Vietnamese cuisine and culture.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to a new menu and restaurant setting.
- Must be available for a training period from March 27-April 5th , with an understanding of a non-work period, before the grand opening April 8th.

- ability to multitask / knowledge of reservation systems 

-  Professional Appearance: A neat and professional appearance is typically expected of hostesses, as they are often the first impression customers have of the establishment.

Responsibilities:

• Overall, the hostess plays a crucial role in ensuring that guests have a positive experience from the moment they enter the establishment until they leave.

- Provide exceptional dining experiences by offering knowledgeable, friendly, and quick service.
- Study and understand our Vietnamese menu to accurately answer guest queries and make recommendations.
- Greeting Guests: The hostess is usually the first point of contact for guests entering a restaurant or establishment. They welcome guests warmly, offer greetings, and direct them to their tables.  always smile.
- Work closely with servers to ensure smooth operation and guest satisfaction.
- Handle waiting lists and information accurately.
- Uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards.

Training:
- Comprehensive training on our new Vietnamese menu and service standards will be provided during Orientation.
- Opportunity to learn directly from our experienced staff and chefs.
