Corporate Accountant

A rapidly growing construction company, located in Tarpon Springs FL is seeking an experienced Corporate Accountant to add to their team.

The successful candidate must have experience working with SAGE accounting software. In this role, you'll be responsible for management and supervision of accounting teams responsible for commercial and residential lines. As well as general office management.

Key Roles and Responsibilities
• Construction Accounting Experience (MEP and HVAC) required
• Communicate and Supervise Commercial Accounting Team
• Communicate and Supervise Residential Accounting Team
• Coordinate with firm Senior Management, CPA and CFO
• Work with customers/vendors on accounts receivable and payable
• Oversight on account reconciliation
• General HR such as new employee setup and bi-weekly payroll support
• General office administration and related vendor management + purchasing supplies, vehicles, construction licenses, and insurance
• Maintain and periodically organize important files/paperwork
• Contribute to improving operations and workflows by refining processes and procedures as the company grows

Qualifications:
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred
• 2+ years SAGE experience, a plus
• 2+ years of administrative, office or organizational experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft office products, i.e., Excel, Outlook, Word
• Willingness to jump in where you are needed and can help
• Proactive and self-starting nature
• Exhibit strong communication and organizational skills
• Demonstrates ability to problem solve
• Experience working in a small business environment
• Interest in learning new skills

Salary: $50,000-$60,000; bonuses up to 25% of wages
