Day Shift Laundromat Attendant & Bartender at Dirty Dungarees

Dirty Dungarees is not your average laundromat. We combine the convenience of laundry services with the social atmosphere of a bar and live music creating a unique and enjoyable experience for our customers. We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Day Shift Laundromat Attendant & Bartender, to evolve into a day time manager.

Responsibilities:

• Daily Cleaning: Perform routine cleaning tasks to ensure a clean and welcoming environment. This includes cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, washing machines, dryers, folding tables, and other surfaces.
• Wash and Fold Services: Complete our drop-off and pick-up wash and fold services which involves washing, drying, and neatly folding customer garments.
• Floor Maintenance: Regularly sweep and mop the floors to maintain a clean and tidy appearance throughout the laundromat.
• Light Bartending: Provide basic bartending services during the day shift. This mostly involves serving canned drinks to customers, maintaining a clean bar area, and ensuring that customers have a positive experience.
• Customer Assistance: Offer assistance and guidance to customers regarding the use of laundry machines, payment methods, and any other inquiries they may have.
• Laundry Equipment Maintenance: Daily cleaning of dryer screens and basic cleaning of the machines. Ability to report any malfunctions or issues with laundry equipment promptly to the management team.
• Cash Handling: Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly when managing the bar, including processing payments for laundry services.

Qualifications:

• Previous Experience: Experience in a customer service-oriented role is preferred. Prior experience in bartending or laundry services is a plus.
• Multi-tasking Skills: Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, including bartending and laundry-related duties.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members effectively.
• Reliability: Punctual and dependable with a strong work ethic.
• Physical Stamina: Capable of standing for extended periods, lifting laundry bags, and performing cleaning duties.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous in folding clothes and maintaining cleanliness throughout the laundromat.

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $12.00 - $15.00/hour.
