About the Role

The Test Integration Engineer role is responsible for coordinating the verification of our Electric Powertrain. They will take the design and certification requirements and, working closely with our design engineering and certification teams, manage the test programs to verify and certify our electric powertrain products. They will also conduct testing.  


Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist the Lead Test Integration Engineer with the process of creating and managing the overall verification test program for the electric powertrain.
  • Manage a set of specific test assets throughout their lifecycle from design release through conclusion of test conduct.
  • Work closely with the program management organization to track the progress of the test program and assigned test assets.
  • Manage creation of test requests, test plans, and test reports for assigned test assets.
  • Work closely with the design, instrumentation, and certification engineers as they create the engineering definition for the assigned test assets.
  • Work closely with the instrumentation and test operations engineers as they create the required test facilities and test environments for the assigned test assets.
  • Conduct and manage testing for assigned test assets.
  • Coordinate testing occurring at external test facilities.
  • Support other areas of test team such as instrumentation, test operations, etc. as required.
  • Apply technical expertise, leadership skills, and program management expertise, with a commitment to quality and safety.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar discipline.
  • Must have 3+ years’ experience in a development or test technical role.
  • Experience and test of Aerospace Gas Turbine or Piston Engines or electronics components desired.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and thrive in a complex product development environment with multiple changing priorities.
  • Understanding of propulsion system development, validation and verification, and FAA certification desired.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Team player with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

  

Work Authorization

  • Employer work visa sponsorship and support are not provided for this role. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at hire and must maintain authorization to work in the United States throughout their employment without the assistance of magniX.

 

Location

  • Applicants must be willing and able to commute to magniX's location in Everett, Washington.

This position's approximate base salary range is $102,000.00 - $118,000.00 per year, depending on years of experience and level of education.

 

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. Under §120.15, a “U.S. Person” includes U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, or asylees.
