Job Description
GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:
Assistant, Franchise Planning will directly support the manager & director of the entertainment license business to develop a strategy to achieve company goals and meet licensor expectations. They will work closely with the merchandise and account management teams to align product launches with marketing and content calendars. This position will research licensor trends, analyze sales data, and may assume responsibility for reporting & forecasting.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist Manager and Director in analyzing sales data for individual reports based on licensor needs.
- Collate licensing information such as content/marketing, creative development, etc. into bi-weekly communication with cross functional teams to ensure timely product launches across all platforms
- Trend research – stay on top of what is happening big-picture for our licensors so that we can jump on viral moments and provide quick turn product
- Highly detail oriented, accurate, and can work well in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work through challenges and creatively problem-solve
- Other duties may be assigned in accordance with department needs.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
- 1-2 Years of licensing experience or a combination of e-commerce account management, design, or product development experience in the apparel industry preferred.
- Exceptional communication, prioritizing, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PPT)
- Knowledge of Photoshop and/or Illustrator helpful
- Customer service experience helpful
