Summer Intern - Architecture

Job Summary:

The Summer Intern is involved in a wide variety of projects that provide a foundation on which a successful career can be built. Our diversity of work and discipline affords the Summer Intern the opportunity to be exposed to all aspects of the land development process, from concept to construction. As a multidiscipline firm, we offer a collaborative environment in which the Seasonal Intern has the unique opportunity to interact, learn, and grow every day.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist the department in drafting and design using Revit
• Participate in conceptual site plans, subdivision developments, grading applications, flood studies, site visits and client meetings
• Will be given the opportunity to contribute to various unique projects

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Familiarity with industry specific drafting and design software
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products
• Valid Virginia drivers license and a satisfactory driving record

Education and Experience:

• Revit software experience preferred
• College coursework towards an industry specific degree required
