Responsibilities
- Inspect and provide accurate estimates for auto-body repair
- Maintain strong lines of communication between yourself, the Maaco repair team, and the client throughout the whole process to build relationships and provide excellent customer service
- Repair vehicles to the best of your ability, maintaining our high standards
- Work within the guidelines of various insurance guidelines
- Makes decisions on repair vs. replace considering safety, cost and cycle time.
- Participates in all required safety meetings.
- Must have own tools
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a collision shop.
- Ability to repair or replace panels according to OEM procedures
- Ability to use frame machine preferred
- Certification in body repair preferred
- I-CAR certified preferred
- Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data
- Mechanic experience
- Welding
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Familiarity with insurance guidelines desired
