Job Summary ...

To evaluate, test, and trouble-shoot new and existing boilers and burners.

Sign on Bonus Details ...

Qualified Tech candidates with 1-5 years of relevant boiler experience will receive a $2500 signing bonus! ($1500 paid upon hire, and $1000 paid at 90 days)

Qualified Techs with +5 years of relevant boiler experience will receive a $5000 signing bonus ($3000 paid upon hire, $2000 paid after 90 days)

Essential Functions ...

  1. Installs equipment to be tested or evaluated.
  2. Collects data from testing (pressure, temperature and emissions).
  3. Creates or modifies parts to resolve problems with fabrication, assembly, or performance.
  4. Maintains facilities and equipment.
  5. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and performance issues.

Preferred Skills:

  1. Organizational abilities for data record keeping
  2. Reading comprehension
  3. Understanding of engineering concepts
  4. Basic understanding of electrical

Physical Skill and Effort ...

Work requires skilled, accurate, rapid, and closely coordinated manual skill. Work requires mostly moderate physical exertion.

Working Conditions and Hazards ...

Normal hazards associated with working in a metal fabricating environment. Personal protection equipment required consists of: safety glasses, steel toed shoes and hearing protection. Additional personal protection equipment may be required and is dependent upon the work being performed, and may include: face shield, respirator etc.

Education:

2 year degree preferred

Experience:

2 - 5 years. Education may count as work experience
