Monitor Tech (Travel or Local)

Location: Tahlequah, OK
Employment Type: Full-time, Contract
Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (12-hour shifts)
Weekly Guarantee: 36 hours

Travel Pay is $40/hr: $1440 gross ($742 weekly stipend included in this amount)

Local Pay is $37/hr

Job Description:
We are seeking a Monitor Tech to join our team in Tahlequah, OK, in a tribal hospital setting. The Monitor Tech will be responsible for overseeing and communicating cardiac monitors, maintaining telemetry monitoring equipment, managing supply inventory, responding to alarms, and keeping equipment logs updated.

Requirements:

• At least 6 months of experience as a Monitor Tech.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).

• Preferably certified as a Cardiac Credentialing International (CCI) or Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT).

Responsibilities:

• Monitor cardiac rhythms and alert medical staff to any abnormalities.

• Maintain and troubleshoot telemetry monitoring equipment.

• Keep track of inventory related to monitoring supplies.

• Respond promptly to alarms and take appropriate actions.

• Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage and incidents.
