ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. Our caregivers assist with showering/bathing/grooming light housekeeping, medical appointments, and medication reminders. Caregivers also assist with errands, companion care and meal prep for assigned clients.
    2. Reports changes in a client's physical, emotional, and spiritual status to clinical staff and management as appropriate.
    3. Helps to maintain/improve quality of life:
    4. Demonstrates respect for clients' rights and treats clients with dignity.
    5. Demonstrates empathy and understanding with all interactions.
    6. Follows safety measures as appropriate.
    7. Follows departmental policies and procedures.
    8. Exhibits proper standard precautions while providing care and utilization of PPE (personal protective equipment) as indicated.
    9. Attends and completes annual education as assigned.
    10. Accurately records cares provided per client’s service plan.
    11. Attends staff meetings and in-services as appropriate.
    12. Organizes and prioritizes changing assignments based on client and departmental needs.
