FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
MBS is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor in West Jefferson, OH. This position is a full-time, Direct Hire opportunity. Relocation assistance offered.
FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and direct all reliability and maintenance activities.
- Install, diagnose, and repair mechanical equipment; troubleshoot issues promptly.
- Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Proficient in PLC and logic controls for high-speed operating equipment.
- Read and decipher mechanical drawings, schematics, and piping diagrams.
- Monitor and improve maintenance department metrics.
- Assist in planning and cost estimation for annual and longer-term capital and operating budgets.
- Implement new projects, audits, and ideas to optimize maintenance operations.
- Communicate effectively with team members and provide strong leadership.
- Utilize organizational skills to streamline maintenance processes.
- Prior experience with SAP preferred.
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience with electrical and mechanical skills.
- Demonstrated ability in troubleshooting mechanical equipment.
- Proven track record in implementing process improvements.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, schematics, and piping diagrams.
- Previous experience with SAP is advantageous.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field preferred.
