Are you looking to become knowledgeable in the world of Marijuana Infused Products? Community Growth Partners / Rebelle (CGP) is looking for an Edibles Technician to join our manufacturing team! The Edibles Technician will perform MIPs formulation, prepare the MIPs for testing and package for wholesale. With opportunities to learn production of MIPs, and other essential cannabis manufacturing tasks. This position follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible. No prior cannabis experience is needed, although it is a plus. 

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintain the highest standards of safety, hygiene & safe food handling practices by complying with internal policies and industry regulations.
  • Safely and precisely operate company equipment and production machinery.
  • Keep accurate records and conduct quality checks during MIP manufacturing processes.
  • Report issues in a timely manner and perform duties with the highest level of safety
  • Must follow all applicable policies, procedures and guidelines, including the safe and proper operation of any/all applicable machinery, instrumentation and equipment.
  • Work as part of a team to meet production schedules.
  • Record data in all necessary software platforms.
  • Responsible for the production of all edibles and infused products
  • Ensure the accurate cannabis dosing of recreational products produced in the kitchen in accordance with state mandated compliance regulations and quality standards and guidelines
  • Ensure recipes are followed to guarantee precise and accurate test results and production quantities
  • Prepare samples from each batch of medicated product to send to third party testing
  • Good communication skills, verbal and written, with co-workers and management.
  • Practice good housekeeping habits throughout the facility with focus and personal contributions towards a clean and organized assigned work area at the end of the assigned shift.
  • Package and Label MIPs for wholesale
  • Ability to manage MIPs inventory via respective platforms 
  • Ability to manage non-cannabis MIPs inventory via respective platforms
  • Other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Long periods of prolonged standing, sitting and use of hands, long periods of prolonged use of office equipment, including computers and phones. Some crouching, stooping, balancing, or holding uncomfortable positions for extended periods of time; repetitive motions. Requires bending and lifting 25+ pounds for distances of up to 100 feet Ability to work in facilities and offices with fluorescent and other lighting exposure.
