Marketing Coordinator Job Posting (Content, Community + Social)


Location: Innovation Office


Reports to: Associate Marketing Director


Availability Requirements: Full-time salaried position. 40 hours per week, hybrid schedule Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm, with occasional weekend hours and evenings for special events.

POSITION SUMMARY:

As Marketing Coordinator, you will support marketing + advertising activities for PENZONE and each of the Company's four brands: PENZONE Salons + Spas, Royal Rhino Club Barbershop & Lounge, L I T Life + Yoga + BASE ONE (launching in April 2024). You will work directly with many cross-functional teams to market our brands across a variety of channels. This position offers tremendous hands-on learning opportunities and a multitude of tasks in a fast paced, creative environment. This is an entry-level position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and/or coordinate content for our brands, including, but not limited to our blogs + videos.
  • Content marketing/storytelling for various channels like social media, email + web.
  • Content + community management + analytics of social media channels, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok + YouTube.
  • Paid social media campaign support.
  • Collaborate on event planning + execution.
  • Collaborate on PR initiatives like coordinating TV appearances, press interviews + more.
  • Assist in coordination of brand photo shoots + content curation.
  • Manage Company's philanthropic initiatives.
  • Collaborate on the implementation of various marketing + promotional campaigns.
  • Podcast curation, production + support.
  • General administrative + reporting tasks.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS + ABILITIES:

  • 1-2 years of experience in Marketing or Social Media Management
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, PR, or equivalent experience preferred
  • Strong copywriting and copy-editing skills
  • Expert understanding of social media scheduling, management + analytics
  • Event coordination experience
  • Basic understanding of WordPress
  • Ability to produce photography + video content
  • High degree of initiative + ownership
  • Able to adapt to shifting priorities, demands and timelines
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic and positive can-do attitude
