Job Summary:

Fundamentals of Practice: Maintains ethical practice in accordance with AOTA standards Adheres to HIPAA regulations and maintains patient confidentiality Under supervision of OT, utilizes Evidence Based Practice to inform clinical decisions Adheres to and applies concepts from the OT Practice Frameworks Demonstrates knowledge of OT Theory Follows all hospital policies and procedures Screening & Standard Evaluation: Aware of incoming consultations/assessments; responds to requests within 24 hours. Demonstrates service competency in the administration of standard assessments. Under supervision of OT, makes appropriate recommendations and communicates to treatment team. Accurately documents the evaluation according to Butler Hospital policy

Specifications:

Education: Associates degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program Training and Experience: Experience in Behavioral Health or with a specific age population (geriatrics, pediatrics)

Special Qualifications: Maintains current state license; excellent communication skills; ability to work with others in a collaborative manner; creative and flexible.
