Our school is looking for part-time support teachers with flexibility of being present in classrooms of all ages. This position brings potential of moving into a classroom permanently.

Working hours are Monday-Friday and fall between 6:30am- 6pm.
Morning shifts are ideally between the hours of 6:30am-2pm, and afternoon shifts are ideally between 12-6.


The ideal candidate will have a background working in a childcare facility. The successful candidate will possess a keen understanding of the needs of preschool students. Were looking for a dedicated professional who wants to provide students with an exemplary educational experience.

Primrose School of Mt. Juliet is an accredited private preschool that provides a premier early education and child care experience for children and families. We provide year-round full and part-time education for infants and children starting at six weeks of age to five years with an additional after school program.

Teacher Responsibilities and Duties:


  • Comfortable working with all age ranges.
  • Able to take direction from management and classroom teachers.
  • Implements the lesson plans and daily classroom schedule in accordance with the Primrose Balanced Learning curriculum and programming.
  • Maintains an attractive well kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore, and make decisions with confidence.
  • Accepts responsibility for maintenance and necessary housekeeping duties of the classroom, common use areas, and playgrounds.
  • Responsible for the overall supervision of a group of children.
Qualifications and Skills:


Previous teaching or assistant teaching position in a licensed early childhood program preferred.

Knowledge of the social, emotional, and creative needs of young children.

Must be able to lift 35 lb. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.

Must be coachable, competent, and confident, able to work with others harmoniously.

Must have:


Good listening skills

High coping capabilities

Strong organizational skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
