Property Management Internship - Summer 2024

We are a real estate company with an entrepreneurial spirit. In the last four years our growth has included acquiring eight communities, 3,500+ rental homes, building and selling 200+ homes. From day one as a paid intern with Sage Ventures, you'll learn what it takes to run a successful business and acquire highly marketable skills in property management. Starting off learning the skills of a Leasing Consultant, being introduced to responsibilities of growth positions such as Leasing Manager, Assistant Property Manager and Property Manager. Our interns take on the same challenges as our full-time professionals. It's a team-based environment; and throughout your internship, your peers will be right by your side helping you learn, grow, and have fun. 

Details: 

• This is a 10 or 12 week summer internship that runs from June 17th 2023 - August 2023
• Pay:$17/hr
• This role is located at one of our properties (Laurel, Beltsville, College Park, Glen Burnie, Owings Mills, White Marsh)

Responsibilities: 

When you join our Internship Program, you'll soon discover that every day is different because it is filled with new, exciting, rewarding and often unexpected opportunities. For a season, we’ll put you in the middle of everything, just like our leasing team. We’ll give you the chance to develop the skills you need to manage a property, take care of customers, develop marketing strategies, and build relationships with tenants and coworkers. 

• May work with and contribute to outreach and promotion efforts utilizing website and social media outlets.  
• Property renewal outreach 
• May work closely with senior team members to complete various, financial, administrative, and other reports and analysis as assigned or as necessary. 
• Move-in follow-ups  
• Scheduling and conducting tours of the units 
• Assigning and following-up on work orders 
• Other tasks as needed 

Qualifications: 

• Must have satisfactory background check  
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
