Job Description:
Looking for skilled CNC Machinist for immediate hire in Evansville. Pay is based on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Manufacture precision parts used in surface and underground mining machinery, and industrial markets.
- Program, set up, and run parts using CNC mills and lathes.
- Use precision measuring devices to ensure proper sizing.
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and tooling.
- Adhere to all relevant health, safety and environmental policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma and/or Trade School.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and ability.
- Strong mathematic skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- CNC machinist requires 3 years practical CNC experience, including programing of conversational and G code machines.
- CNC machinist with 5+ years’ experience operating CNC Lathe and Mills preferred.
- VTL (Vertical Turret Lathe) experience is a plus!
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interpret prints and drawings.
- Ability to work independently.
- Overtime may be required based on customer demand.
