Job Description

As our Human Resources Manager, you'll be the driving force behind our mission to provide top-notch service, outstanding products, and exceptional experience for both our valued customers and dedicated employees.

From leading a diverse team of dispensary professionals to onboarding, training, and performance management strategies, you'll have the chance to showcase your unparalleled skills and creativity. You'll have a direct hand in propelling our brand to new heights while ensuring that each dispensary location maintains its unique charm and local flair. You will report directly to the Director of Human Resources.

Location: Remote with up to 50% travel expectation between our OH and PA dispensary locations

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert consultation to assigned customer organizations and make recommendations on key HR strategies, initiatives, issues, and programs
  • Collaborate with cross functional partners to address a variety of topics such as business and workforce planning, performance management, and organizational development
  • Collaborate with other HR professionals and line managers to develop effective solutions and strategies to support key objectives
  • Counsel assigned customer organizations on interpretation and application of relevant policies and regulations for situation-specific issues
  • Facilitate resolution of HR concerns and advise on alternative approaches to resolving issues and opportunities for improvement
  • Support and/or lead basic HR process improvements and HR projects, with effective change management principles
  • Provide thoughtful and tactful communications with the utmost of diplomacy, treating others with dignity and respect, while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality
  • Partner with SVP of Human Resources as needed on union matters
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • 5+ years HR leadership experience in a multi-site retail or manufacturing environment preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or other related fields preferred
  • Certifications from Human Resources professional organizations such as the Society for Human Resource Management, HR Certification Institute, or WorldatWork a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to build solid relationships at all levels including Senior Executives
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and customer focus; ability to build relationships, influence and collaborate at all levels
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Experience coaching and developing staff and leadership
  • High level of professionalism, personal integrity and dependability
  • Adept at working in a cross-functional environment in a highly collaborative manner
  • Extremely organized and able to conceptualize solutions when faced with complex challenges
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel 25%-50%
