Job Summary
As an Account Manager, you will play a critical role in maintaining and expanding our client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction, and driving revenue growth. Reporting directly to the President and COO, this position emphasizes the importance of the role within our organization. The ideal candidate will effectively collaborate with affiliates, partners, and executive leadership to align our services with our clients' needs.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop and maintain strong, enduring client relationships, acting as the main point of contact and liaison between clients and our organization.
- Understand client needs and objectives, ensuring our offerings meet their goals.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to ensure client requirements are met effectively and timely.
- Work with affiliates and partners to explore and capitalize on business opportunities, enhancing the overall value provided to clients.
- Prepare and deliver reports on account status, including progress, roadblocks, and opportunities, to the President and COO, and other stakeholders.
- Assist in financial forecasting and tracking of key account metrics.
- Participate in strategic planning with the executive leadership to improve client satisfaction and achieve sales targets.
- Ensure compliance with federal labor laws and company policies in all client interactions and transactions.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, or relevant role.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of donor-advised funds, split-interest gifts and fiscal sponsorships strongly preferred
- Experience with nonprofit management a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating leadership and initiative.
- High level of accountability and commitment to client success.
- Proficient in Google Workspace, HubSpot, and QuickBooks; experience with these tools is crucial for managing client information, communication, and financial transactions effectively.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
- Willingness to undergo continuous professional development and training.
Education:
- An undergraduate degree in business or finance is beneficial. Relevant experience and a track record of success in account management or a related field are highly valued.
