Job Description
Federal Heath Sign Company is looking for a Maintenance Technician to support our Delaware, Ohio manufacturing facility!
Position Summary
The Maintenance technician will work directly with the Operations Team at our Delaware, Ohio facility while ensuring all machines are maintained per Federal Heath and OSHA requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop a compressive Preventive Maintenance Program for each machine
- Install/troubleshoot/repair/ maintain all equipment
- Develop a Maintenance history for each machine (including parts used)
- Must be able to diagnosis problems, including CNC, electrical and mechanical
- Must be able to be certified on a forklift and scissor-lift.
- May include some nights and weekend work.
- Must understand and follow all Federal Heath, State and OSHA safety rules in regard to working on machinery and equipment.
- Utilize and execute continuous improvement through learning of lean knowledge within the company.
- Other duties as assigned
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Must have a valid Driver License.
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Will be able to communicate effectively with all office and plant personnel.
- High level of expertise working on CNC routers, Turret, Punch Press, Brake, and Shear.
- Profession liaison with vendors and contractors.
- Above average skills in Excel
- Past management/leadership experience is helpful.
- Lean experience preferred
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment
