Protective's Concourse Financial Group is seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable individual to join our team as a Senior Internal Wholesaler specializing in Long Term Care Insurance. This individual will be responsible for partnering with RVPs to assist with case design, facilitate product training with Edward Jones Financial Advisors, and to identify sales opportunities for existing and prospective Branch Team Relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Make & receive sales calls on a daily basis, with new and existing representatives, to strengthen relationships and find sales opportunities. This includes sales campaigns, new business opportunities, follow-up calls, requests from branches, and other revenue-driving activity as directed by management and RVP(s).
  • Make prospecting calls and pass qualified leads along to RVP(s) to drive new producers.
  • Maintain existing relationships to drive repeat business.
  • Provide product education to Edward Jones branches as an expert on their available LTC insurance products & processes.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, regulations, and competitive landscape in the LTC insurance market.
  • Create sales opportunities and execute thoughtful follow-up to move these through the sales pipeline.
  • Design illustrations/quotes for LTC products, ensuring design is within Edward Jones guidelines.
  • Work closely with the RVP(s) to develop and execute a strategic business plan to maximize territory sales growth.
  • Utilize Concourse systems & databases to record and maintain all sales activity.

Requirements:

  • Minimum three years' experience in insurance sales with focus on LTC insurance.
  • Strong understanding of long-term care insurance products, industry regulations and market dynamics
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, in a fast paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office Suite and CRM software.

Education, Certifications, Licenses, Registrations Required

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • SIE, Series 6, Series 63, and Life/health licenses.
  • CLTC is preferred but can be obtained within first six months in the role.
Protective's targeted salary range for this position is between $73,500 and $158,500, which will include a base determined by experience and a cash compensation as part of a sales incentive plan (SIP). Actual salaries may vary depending on factors, including but not limited to, job location, skills, and experience.
