Base Salary Target: $75,000 - $85,000 + commission and benefits.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Catering Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales and managing events in our award-winning event spaces, which are known for their breathtaking panoramic views of city skylines, waterfronts, and airports. This role demands a high level of dedication and passion for creating unforgettable dining experiences with exceptional food, unmatched service, and breathtaking views.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to attract and retain corporate and special event clients.
- Coordinate and oversee the execution of events, ensuring they meet and exceed client expectations.
- Collaborate with culinary and operations teams to ensure seamless event planning and execution.
- Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients while actively seeking new business opportunities.
- Provide all-inclusive planning services to clients, ensuring every detail is accounted for, from menu selection to event design.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales within high-volume event spaces or restaurants.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing successful events.
- Strong knowledge of the hospitality industry, including food and beverage management, event planning, and coordination.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and team members.
- Creative problem-solver with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet the demands of the role.
- A history of long-term employment relationships, with an average tenure of 3+ years per job preferred.
