Education / Experience / License and Certifications:

  • Registered Pharmacist in the State of Wyoming, maintaining a license in good standing.
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctorate of Pharmacy degree.
  • ACLS certification preferred.
  • BLS certification preferred.

Job Description:

Under the guidance of the Pharmacy Manager and amidst a team-oriented atmosphere, the staff pharmacist will undertake the responsibility of examining, formulating, and distributing both intravenous and oral medications, adhering to established physical and chemical protocols, to meet medication requisitions sanctioned by physicians and other duly authorized prescribers. Essential tasks enpass:

  • Receiving and reviewing medication orders to ensure the appropriateness of doses based on patient's age, weight, and allergies
  • Screening for potential drug interactions and documenting interventions
  • Reviewing and updating medication reconciliation duties as necessary
  • Being accountable for the timely achievement of individual and team metrics as assigned.
  • Instructing and supervising Pharmacy Technicians and Interns
