We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder with experience in working with fine gauge stainless steel to join our team. As a TIG Welder, you will be responsible for producing high-quality welds on various components and assemblies, primarily using stainless steel materials. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of TIG welding techniques, particularly in handling delicate and thin materials.

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform TIG welding operations on stainless steel components, ensuring adherence to quality standards and specifications.
  2. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols to determine welding requirements and specifications.
  3. Set up welding equipment including TIG torches, gas regulators, and filler materials according to job requirements.
  4. Clean and prepare workpieces for welding, ensuring proper fit-up and alignment.
  5. Operate welding equipment safely and efficiently, maintaining control over heat input and welding parameters.
  6. Monitor weld quality during production runs, making adjustments as necessary to ensure compliance with standards.
  7. Conduct post-weld inspections to detect and correct defects such as porosity, cracks, or incomplete penetration.
  8. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of work area, including routine maintenance of welding equipment.
  9. Collaborate with other team members to achieve production goals and project deadlines.
  10. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
