Position: Bilingual Special Education Teacher
Location: Bakersfield, California

Responsibilities:

• Create and implement customized education plans for bilingual students with special needs.
• Tailor instructional strategies to meet the unique learning requirements of bilingual learners.
• Provide direct instruction and assistance across various subjects and life skills, integrating language development and special education methodologies.
• Foster strong partnerships with parents, administrators, and support staff to ensure effective collaboration in student support.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and actively participate in IEP meetings conducted in English and Spanish.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Valid California teaching credential in Special Education.
• Fluency in English and Spanish, enabling effective communication and instruction.
• Experience working with diverse student populations, including those with autism, ADHD, and learning disabilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to nurturing the academic and socio-emotional growth of bilingual students.
